Janet Kaminski, of Colonia, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family.
Janet was born on January 30, 1934, in Lennoxtown, Scotland. In her early twenties, she made the courageous journey to the United States with her best friend, beginning a new chapter that would be centered on family, community, and deep-rooted faith.
A devoted mother, Janet raised three beloved children- Thomas, Geri, and Clare- and later found her greatest joy in her role as a full-time Nana. Her grandchildren (her treasures)- were the light of her life.
Janet was known for her warmth, grace, and timeless sense of style, as well as her unwavering dedication to those she loved. A devout Catholic, she was a longtime member of Saint John Vianney Church and was proudly involved in the Women’s Auxiliary, where she gave generously of her time and formed lasting friendships.
She is survived by her loving children, Thomas and Clare; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha and her husband William, Alyssa, Jennifer, and Shannon; and her dear sons-in-laws, Charles and Mark.
Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, and her daughter, Geri, whom she carried in her heart always.
She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her faith, and the deep love she gave so freely to her family. Her memory will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
